The 3 Kratom Strains
3 Strains of Kratom
Mitragyna Speciosa, is a tree which produces large, broad shaped leaves that are dried, crushed, and consumed, smoked, or chewed. Kratom leaves grow on these evergreen trees in Southeast Asia. Kratom strains are identified by the vein which runs through the center of the leaf which can be either green, white, or red. Each color of vein produces different effects.
As mentioned in our blog on "What is Kratom?" we discussed a few other ways kratom can be differentiated (horned, fermented, etc.). Yellow is typically a mixture of the three strains or a 2 of the three strains to produce a combined effect.
Each with their unique effect on the human body. For more information about kratom's uses, visit the American Kratom Association or read this blog which covers a lot of the basic questions and5 steps to purchasing kratom!
